Anxiety is one of the most common reasons why people ignore visiting the dentist. At Chapel Gate Dental, we understand that going to the dentist and having work done can be a scary proposition. That’s why we offer pain-free dentistry and treat patients of all ages with compassion and patience to help them feel safe and comfortable at our clinic. Our goal is to calm your nerves, put your mind at ease, and give you the confidence to come to us when you need help without fear of pain.
If you have been putting off visiting the dentist because you hate how the instruments feel and worry about feeling pain, we can provide pain-free dental treatment options for your peace of mind. We use the latest technology that causes little to no pain at all throughout the process. Whether you need pain-free dental cleaning or pain-free dental implants, we can suggest options to ensure you won’t experience any pain.
The invention of the Wand STA has taken the dental world by storm. In most cases, you will not feel that the needles have been administered to you. The computerised Wand slowly administers the anaesthetic without the pressure and discomfort of normal anaesthetic. It also warms the anaesthetic before delivery so that the body doesn’t feel the usual painful sensations.
The Wand STA only numbs the tooth being worked on. This means you won’t have droopy lips or have your jaw numb for 2 to 4 hours. STA stands for Single Tooth Anaesthesia and it numbs just the tooth that is being treated. You can walk out and go directly back to your daily life and no one will be able to tell that you’ve just been to the dentist.
Our pain-free dentist has access to the Wand STA, the benefits of which include:
