What to Do In Case Of Dental Emergencies before Seeing Us?

  • For toothaches, rinse the mouth with warm water to clean it out. If the pain persists for a longer time, you must see the dentist.
  • For chipped and broken tooth, apply gauze to the area until bleeding stops. Apply a cold compress to relieve pain and swelling.
  • For a knocked out tooth, never force the tooth back into its socket. Rather, keep it in water or milk until you visit the dentist.
  • When objects caught between the teeth, try dental floss. If you can’t remove the object, visit the dentists as quickly as possible.
  • For soft-tissue injuries, rinse with a mild water solution to soothe out lips, tongue, gums, and cheeks.
